Durandal moved to dodge, but wasn't fast enough. However, he was saved by the auravice in his hand.

Renault vanished momentarily and then reappeared right behind the AC and promptly slammed the auravice down towards its back.

(((Yeah, I just now remembered that Renault can teleport.)))

AC let out a scream. It was a terrifying roar.

Pyrex grabbed the red pill and quickly swallowed it. Suddenly energey was flowing through him.

"I've been waiting for this all my life, Aura STORM!"

A beam of red energy shot from Pyrex's hands, then it began to feed off of his body for energy.

By the time it was all over, the AC and Pyrex we gone.

((Uh oh....))

(((And I was hoping it'd live long enough to battle Jaffar...)))

Durandal just stared in shock. There wasn't much else to do.

But Jaffar attacked Durandal, Blancandrin, and Renault with a rare viciousness. Unfortunately for him, he had given Renailt some notable powers. And Renault had already had some powers before becoming a seal.

So he, with Blancandrin's help, batted the morphs and Denneth away before Renault found quite the innovative use for the auravice: He charged it with his native light energy and then threw it at Jaffar, just as Jaffar was preparing to unleash quite a bit of power on Renault. Jaffar's power was disrupted and went wild, quickly generating a cave-in. Renault jumped sideways and grabbed Blancandrin and Durandal before teleporting them out of the cavern.

At the Yumigata Rocks, Brendan sensed Jaffar's defeat.

"Ursula," he said, "we leave at once."

Ursula simply nodded and then the Reeds all vanished. However, only two of their prisoners, Wulf and Ninian, went with them; Roan managed to throw a shield up around himself and Raven to prevent their capture.

As this happened, Uriah and Stella ran up, hoping to rescue the prisoners before the seals escaped. In the end, only Roan and Raven, through Roan's power, escaped, as mentioned above.

"Take them back to the Academy. I'll hunt the seals." Uriah said. Stella nodded and teleported herself and the two incarnates to the Academy as Uriah ran off towards the sea.
